In order to protect IDignity’s clients, volunteers, donors, staff and other partners, we are taking steps to follow guidelines and recommendations from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

In accordance with the CDC’s mitigation strategies outline, we have decided to cancel IDignity Orlando Identification Clinics and Client Care Days until further notice.

As the next few weeks unfold, we will continue to monitor the situation and how it may impact other IDignity events.

For more information on the Coronavirus, including prevention techniques, please visit the CDC website.

On behalf of IDignity, we appreciate your flexibility and your dedication to the health and safety of our community.

A big thank you to IBERIABANK for sponsoring this virtual volunteer orientation. We look forward to having IBERIABANK’s volunteers join us when our monthly Identification Clinics resume.

Our next virtual volunteer orientation is scheduled for May 7. Until then, stay safe, stay healthy, stay home.

Throughout stay-at-home orders, IDignity has continued working hard to serve our clients. Just last week, through partnership with the Hope Team, we were able to obtain a birth certificate for a mother who needed it in order to receive healthcare for her and her child.

The onset of the coronavirus has forced so many businesses and organizations, including IDignity, to adapt and re-imagine the ways they operate. As a result of the Tax Collector’s Office and Social Security Administration temporarily offering online services only, we’ve had to modify the way we assist our clients.

IDignity’s mission was founded on a culture of creativity, transformation and resourcefulness. In the spirit of these ideals, IDignity is finding new methods for serving clients remotely, as well as ways to ensure proper social distancing and minimize contact between people for the ongoing safety of our clients and volunteers.

We are so grateful for your continued encouragement, donations and support through these trying times. We assure you that IDignity’s mission has not changed, only the ways in which we accomplish it. With your help, we will weather this storm and come out stronger on the other end.

We hope that you and your loved ones have been fortunate enough to stay safe and healthy through this pandemic. We look forward to being reunited with all of you again soon.
