Hayden hasn’t had valid ID since 2006 when his expired. To renew that ID, he needed to present a lot of documentation that he didn’t have.

Recently, Hayden came to IDignity with his case manager Sandra from Aspire Health Partners. After several years of complicated efforts, IDignity was able to obtain Hayden’s naturalization papers, his birth certificate, and ultimately his new ID. “On his fixed, limited income, he could never afford to replace these documents on his own,” said Sandra.

For someone like Hayden, who does a lot of walking around The City Beautiful, having valid ID means security and safety. Some clients need an ID to get a job or a place to live. Hayden simply wanted to have proof of who he is.
