Please join the Orlando community to recognize and remember the lives of persons who have died this year in Central Florida after having experienced homelessness. Names of homeless persons who died in 2018 will be read aloud, and a candle will be lit to recognize and pay tribute to our neighbors who died on the streets or in emergency shelters.
The Orlando community came together again this year to honor the lives of those who died after experiencing homelessness in 2017.
Imagine a room full of people playing cards and rolling dice in the name of helping strangers to get their identity back. That’s exactly what happened April 29th, at DoveCote, during the IDignity Shindig.
Today, we commemorated the lives of those in our community who passed away in 2016 after having experienced homelessness. This service was a time for family, friends, advocates, community leaders and service providers to come together and show respect to the valued lives of these most vulnerable citizens.
Join DoveCote for a very special holiday happy hour in support of IDignity, hosted by community leader Andrae Bailey and DoveCote’s Chef Clayton Miller.
