Table Hosts are the heart of this event. By inviting friends, colleagues, clients, neighbors, and family members to your table, you introduce new people to IDignity’s mission while helping create an unforgettable evening of culinary excellence, community, and generosity.

Your Commitment
As a table host, you will:
- Host a table of 8–10 guests (including yourself)
- Make the $1,000 Table Host Contribution
- Personally invite your guests
- Register guests by February 27, 2027
- Welcome your guests on event night
- Enjoy an incredible evening while introducing others to IDignity’s mission

As a Table Host, your role is simple, but incredibly important.
You are helping introduce people to IDignity through an exceptional evening of food, fellowship, and purpose.
As a Table Host, you will:
- Invite and host a table of 8–10 guests (including yourself)
- Personally invite friends, colleagues, family members, neighbors, clients, or community partners
- Register your guests in advance
- Reconfirm attendance before the event
- Welcome your guests on event night
- Enjoy the evening alongside your guests while helping them connect with IDignity’s mission
Most guests attend the Souper Douper because someone they know personally invited them. Your invitation is one of the most meaningful ways to expand IDignity’s community of supporters.
The Souper Douper is one of Central Florida’s signature culinary fundraising events.
The evening features seven Celebrity Chefs competing in a friendly Soup-Off Competition while guests sample each chef’s signature soup and vote for their favorite. This is the dinner portion of the evening.
Following the tasting experience, guests enjoy dessert, hear inspiring stories about IDignity’s impact, and celebrate the evening with the Culinary Awards Presentation.
Your Table Host Contribution helps underwrite the cost of producing the event so that funds raised throughout the evening can directly support IDignity’s mission of helping individuals obtain the identification documents they need to access employment, housing, healthcare, education, and hope.
Your Table Host Checklist
□ Invite Your Guests
Personal invitations are always the most effective. Phone calls, text messages, emails, and face-to-face conversations are encouraged.
Great guests include:
- Friends
- Family members
- Anyone who enjoys great food while supporting an important cause
- Coworkers
- Clients
- Neighbors
- Business associates
- Community leaders
□ Share Event Details
Let guests know:
- The evening features a Celebrity Chef Soup-Off Competition (The dinner portion of the event.)
- The experience includes dessert and a short program
- Guests will have an opportunity to support IDignity during the program
- Attire is business casual
- Complimentary parking is provided
□ Register Your Guests
All guests must be registered in advance for seating assignments and printed name badges.

Your Role During the Event
Your primary responsibility is simply to make your guests feel welcome.
As a Table Host, you can help by:
- Greeting your guests as they arrive
- Introducing guests to one another
- Encouraging everyone to enjoy the Soup-Off (dinner portion of event)
- Supporting engagement during the program and voting moments
- Participating in the evening’s fundraising moment (pledge cards or QR giving)
- Returning table materials to IDignity staff at the end of the evening
The IDignity staff and volunteers will handle event logistics throughout the evening.
During the program, guests will have the opportunity to make a charitable gift supporting IDignity’s mission.
As a Table Host:
- Your role is simply to distribute and collect pledge cards when prompted by the emcee during the program.
- Contributions are completely voluntary and made directly by guests.
- Guests may give using pledge cards or a QR code.
Each Table Host makes a $1,000 contribution to participate.
This contribution helps underwrite the cost of producing the Souper Douper, allowing proceeds raised during the evening to directly support IDignity’s programs and services.
Your generosity helps maximize the impact of every dollar invested in restoring dignity throughout our community.

It’s one of Central Florida’s most unique culinary events featuring seven Celebrity Chefs competing in a friendly Soup-Off Competition, followed by dessert and a short program highlighting the incredible work of IDignity.
There is no cost to attend as my guest, although guests will have an opportunity to make a charitable gift during the evening if they choose.

> How many guests should I invite?
Each table seats 8 – 10 guests, including you.
> Can guests attend if they weren’t registered?
Advance registration is required so we can prepare seating assignments and name badges. If you need to add or substitute a guest after the registration deadline, please contact the IDignity team as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate the change.
> Do I collect donations?
No. Guests give directly to IDignity during the program using pledge cards or a QR code.
